You Stay in Control

Bringing your child to Isabel's House does not mean giving up custody. You remain your child's legal guardian throughout their stay. Our goal is to keep families together and support you through difficult times - not to separate you from your child.

Here's what that means:

You make all decisions about your child's care and schedule.
Only you or an approved contact can pick up your child.
You'll work with a Family Advocate to create a plan that supports your family's needs.
Our services are voluntary, confidential, and designed to help you resolve a crisis safely.
While we may work with local agencies, Isabel's House is not part of a foster care system and never takes custody of children. As mandated reporters, we're required to report signs of child abuse or neglect - but our primary focus is always on supporting you and ensuring your child's safety. You stay in control, and we're here to help.

Intake Timeline

For your child to stay at Isabel's House, you must first complete our intake process.
