Isabel’s House provides a safe haven for children and support for families facing difficult situations.  

​Open 24/7, 365 days a year, we offer free short-term care for infants and children ages birth to 12 whose families are experiencing challenges. While children stay in a warm, nurturing environment with meals, clothing, and care, our Family Advocates partner with parents and caregivers to navigate resources, reduce stress, and build safer futures.

All services are voluntary, free, and confidential. We’re here to help – call us anytime at 417-865-2273.
REASONS TO CALL US:
  • Loss of home or utilities
  • Safety concerns in your home
  • Admission to drug or alcohol rehabilitation
  • Short-term incarceration
  • Severe mental/emotional distress or instability
  • Physical or mental health emergencies (if you can’t come to us, we can meet you at a medical facility)
  • Domestic violence (we can help you find a safe place, too!)
