About Us

Isabel’s House opened its doors on June 25, 2007, as a community-driven response to the urgent need to protect children and strengthen families in the Ozarks. Born from a Signature Project of the Junior League of Springfield, Isabel’s House continues to serve as a safe haven for children and a trusted support for parents navigating crisis.
"We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility.  It's easy to say 'It's not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.'  Then there are those who see the need and respond.  I consider these people my heroes."  -Fred Rogers
