Volunteer at Isabel's House
Individual Service
As an Isabel’s House volunteer, you can become a valued part of #TeamIsabel in a number of ways, including:
|
Are you a teacher at heart? At our house, you could be an expert homework helper! Do you love to share your experiences as a parent or grandparent? At our house, there’s a child who needs your gentle guidance. Did you write the family cookbook? At our house, we fill each little tummy about 35 times during an average stay!
You have something great to offer our kids, and we’re looking for the best of the best to join us in our mission to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.

- In the volunteer application, note any associated groups or organizations, as well as any hour requirements you hope to fulfill.
- Be patient – our volunteer screening process takes time (but, it’s worth it!)
Group Service
At Isabel’s House, we rely on volunteer groups to keep our house beautiful and up-to-date, but projects are varied and often seasonal, so it’s usually best to contact us weeks (if not months) in advance. Please note that due to state licensing restrictions, most groups will not be able to have direct interaction with our clients without each member first going through our complete individual volunteer orientation process. |
For inquiries about potential projects for your group, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Chelsea, at 417-865-2273 ext.105 to get started.
